The flare adds a brilliant amount of depth and the clouds in the sky makes things more interesting, too. I think the colours are great...natural, and thus it conveys the natural essence of things quite well.
I like the portrait format, although I do feel it's a small shame that the guy's elbow is chopped off. I'm not too sure on the contrast and how the lighting makes the guy... harsh, in terms of its angles, lighting and all of that.
Other than that, though, it's not bad. I like the composition and the atmosphere captured and created.
